BioCurrently serving as the president of Emerson College's Affiliated Faculty Union, David has taught at five area colleges and universities for the past six years. Past courses include introductory media history courses and seminars devoted exploring topics like American film censorship, the representation of physical disability, video art, a survey of contemporary national cinemas, and Buffy the Vampire Slayer. His writing focuses on the work of Todd Haynes and Joss Whedon. In addition, he has taught talented 4th-8th grade students the principles and practice of parliamentary debate at College Academy and volunteer teaches the same subject at the Roxbury Boys and Girls Club. He received a Master of Science degree in Film Studies from Boston University.
